Based in the Boston, MA area, this position will report to the Vice President of Operations and be responsible for strategically leading capital project execution and maintenance strategy for two flagship production sites. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. Primary Responsibilities: Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, with responsibility for budget, timeline, and stakeholder alignment. Develop and manage annual maintenance and capital budgets; drive cost control and ROI visibility. Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site maintenance team with a focus on ownership, accountability, and professional growth. Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance strategies across forging, heat treat, and machining operations. Partner closely with plant managers, engineering, EHS, and corporate facilities teams to ensure production readiness and safety compliance. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) required. Post graduate degree (MSE, MBA, etc.) or advanced certification (PMP) is a plus. Extensive capital project leadership experience within industrial manufacturing environments. Experience leading and developing large maintenance and reliability teams. Proven track record of improving equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance system performance. Willingness and ability to travel (domestic) 15-20%.
