For that reason, we take a human approach to everything we do, focusing largely on collaborative performance.
The Role: Capstone is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking People Business Partner to lead our People agenda across the London office and broader EMEA region while shaping key global talent and development initiatives. As the senior People lead in-region, you’ll partner closely with UK/EMEA leadership as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, organisational design, performance, promotions, and other core people matters. You’ll play a key role in shaping our culture, strengthening engagement, and ensuring UK/EMEA needs are reflected in global programs and policies. Globally, you’ll help advance talent management efforts, particularly for investment staff, including career pathways, succession planning, capability assessments, and high‑potential identification. You’ll also influence the global L&D strategy, support a meaningful performance management process, and work closely with People Operations, Recruitment, and Total Rewards to deliver a cohesive employee experience.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- HR Business Partnering & Leadership (London & EMEA): Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for the UK and EMEA region, operating as a strategic partner to regional leadership. Provide general HR guidance/counsel to UK/EMEA business leaders, managers and employees on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to talent strategy, headcount planning/organisational design, performance management & performance issues, promotions and other people-related matters. Lead all UK/EMEA employee relations matters, including advanced and complex ER cases, working closely with legal counsel to ensure compliant, consistent, and risk‑aligned outcomes. Drive engagement, culture, and change initiatives across the region to support a high‑performance, inclusive, and values‑aligned workplace. Ensure UK‑specific people strategy is integrated into global people programs, enabling seamless execution across time zones and teams. Partner with Global People Operations to align UK/EMEA processes, policies, and employee experience with firmwide standards while ensuring regional needs and legal requirements are met. Act as a key connector between Global People Operations, Recruitment and UK leadership to ensure an integrated and seamless employee experience.
- Talent Management & Organisational Development (Global): Lead talent management strategy for investment teams, including career pathways, succession planning, capability assessment, and high‑potential identification. Partner with the Head of HR on global strategic talent planning: workforce planning, organisational design, and leadership coaching. Play a key role in shaping the global L&D strategy by surfacing skill needs, influencing program design, and helping ensure employees have the tools and learning opportunities to grow. Partner with People Operations to support execution of the firm’s performance management cycle, ensuring meaningful performance discussions and actionable development outcomes.
Our future colleague has these skills:
- Experience supporting investment professionals is preferred.
- 5-10 years of varying HR functional experience, including time spent as an HRBP or HR Generalist.
- Experience in organisational development and/or talent management a plus.

- Resourceful, flexible and creative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should be able to communicate clearly and concisely with employees of all levels.
