The Team: We are looking for a Middle Office Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for a broad scope of trade support functions and managing the trade lifecycle. You will work closely with the Portfolio Management team and must be able to handle multiple queries from the trading desk at any given time. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work efficiently and have the ability to multitask while still maintaining detail orientation.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Manage trade bookings across a wide-range of products
- Assist PMs in monitoring the risk platform and troubleshoot any issues
- Monitor matching platforms and ensure all risk/bookings are accurate
- Work closely with Sales counterparts and Operations to ensure trades are allocated and settled
- Drive process improvements -- recognise inefficiencies or gaps, recommend improvements and help implement new processes
- Monitor control functions including P&L, breaks and EOD checks
Our future colleague has these skills:
- 1-2 years of Middle Office/Operations experience
- Ideally multi-product knowledge or at least one of the following: equities (cash & derivatives), fixed income, credit, FX and commodities
- Familiarity with the trade lifecycle and relevant controls
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Bloomberg is a plus
