Overview: We are looking for an individual to join the Operations team of a large and complex asset manager. This role will have a large focus on listed products. We are looking for an experienced individual who has the ability to think and work on their own, liaise with our fund accounting team and engage with our administrator and counterparts. An important part of the role includes working closely with the firm’s fund accounting team, which is based in NY. We would expect a successful candidate to interact with this team on a daily basis.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations between the funds own proprietary system and that of their administrators.
- Work with the operations team to perform daily reconciliation against the funds counterparts on both listed and OTC accounts.
- Liaise with the front and middle office to help resolve top day and T+1 P&L issues.
- Agree and process OTC settlements with external counterparties.
- Review and process OTC trade confirmations.
- Help to improve current reconciliation platforms used by the Operations team.
- Work with other Capstone teams on the launch of new accounts/strategies/funds.
- Lead process improvements -- recognise inefficiencies or gaps, recommend improvements and help implement new processes.
- Act as a point of contact for any queries from Portfolio Managers and Traders.
- Ensure urgent items get escalated at the appropriate pace.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and reporting as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

- Experience and knowledge dealing across multiple asset types and products (rates, convertible bonds, equities, options, FX, commodities, etc.).

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
