This is an opportunity for an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major MEP package on one of London's most prestigious five-star hospitality developments. The project involves the transformation of a landmark heritage building into an ultra-luxury hotel, delivering world-class guest accommodation, signature food & beverage spaces, wellness facilities and back-of-house areas. Every element of the scheme is being delivered to the highest specification, with a strong emphasis on exceptional craftsmanship, bespoke finishes and seamless integration of complex building services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design coordination process, including BIM, across the MEP package.
  • Resolve design and site coordination challenges between shell & core services, hotel fit-out and specialist MEP installations, ensuring programme-aligned solutions.
  • Manage and coordinate the installation sequence of all mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
  • Lead and manage MEP trade contractors, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare scopes of work and oversee the procurement of mechanical, electrical and public health trade contractors.
  • Supervise MEP installations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, Employer's Requirements and five-star hospitality standards.
  • Implement robust quality assurance, testing and health & safety procedures throughout delivery.
  • Manage package budgets and programmes to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Provide regular progress updates and maintain clear communication with the client, consultants, contractors, specialist suppliers and the wider construction management team.
  • Identify design or Employer's Requirement non-compliance early and propose practical, cost- and programme-efficient solutions.
  • Oversee commissioning, witnessing, testing and handover, ensuring a seamless transition from trade contractors through to client operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience delivering MEP packages on luxury hotel, high-end hospitality or other technically complex construction projects, ideally on multi-million-pound developments.
  • Strong understanding of MEP coordination, installation sequencing, commissioning and managing specialist trade contractors.
  • Experience working within live or high-specification hospitality environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
