An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Director to join a leading global consultancy delivering some of the UK’s most high-profile and technically complex developments.
This role will see you take full leadership responsibility for one or more flagship projects within the Health, Life Sciences or Critical Infrastructure sectors. These are truly state-of-the-art schemes, shaping the future of the built environment and providing long-term societal impact.
As Project Director, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of major programmes valued at £500m+ from early inception through to completion and handover. You will act as the senior client-facing lead, driving strategy, governance, commercial performance and team leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects or programmes
- Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
- Setting project strategy, governance frameworks and delivery structures
- Managing and mentoring project teams, including developing junior talent
- Ensuring projects are delivered to time, cost, quality and safety standards
- Providing commercial oversight and risk management at senior level
About You
You will be an established Project Director or Senior Project Leader with a strong track record of delivering major capital projects within consultancy or client-side environments.
You will have:
- Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale projects (£200m+)
- Experience within Health, Life Sciences or Critical Infrastructure sectors
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing capability
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people
Qualifications

- MRICS
- MCIOB

- MAPM
