Landmark Properties, the leading US developer of Student Housing, has arrived in the UK. With $15bn AUM and 75,000 beds under management, Landmark is setting out to replicate its success by delivering high-quality living-led schemes across the UK and Europe.

We are seeking a Director of Construction to spearhead their UK delivery platform. This is Landmark’s first senior construction hire in London, a rare opportunity to shape the business from the ground up.

The Role

  • Lead delivery of complex, large-scale residential developments (PBSA, BTR, Co-Living).
  • Oversee projects from early design stages through to completion.
  • Build and lead the UK construction function, establishing best practice, systems, and contractor relationships.
  • Collaborate with investment and development teams to assess pipeline and advise on buildability, cost, and risk.
  • Represent Landmark as a senior figure with contractors, consultants, and partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • 12+ years’ experience delivering major residential led projects (PBSA/BTR/Hotels).
  • Director level operator, with a proven track record of projects £100m+.
  • Contractor background with strong technical, commercial, and risk management skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style: able to build trusted relationships across the supply chain.
  • A self-starter: entrepreneurial, proactive, and motivated to grow a UK platform.
