Overview
We are working with a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy delivering high-profile, complex developments across the UK, EMEA, and Asia. They are known for delivering major capital programmes for global clients. Due to continued growth and increasing demand on some of their largest projects to date, they are looking to appoint a Lead Project Scheduler to play a key role across multiple schemes, each valued at £1 billion+.
The Role
As Lead Project Scheduler, you will take strategic ownership of programme management and scheduling functions across a portfolio of projects. You will be embedded in both UK and international teams, working across a flagship residential scheme, a significant infrastructure programme, and several other schemes across Europe and Asia.
You will work closely with project directors, consultants, and clients to drive programme certainty, ensure critical path alignment, and proactively mitigate risks through best-in-class scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain fully integrated master programmes across multiple high-value projects
- Lead the scheduling function on complex residential and infrastructure schemes (£1bn+)
- Identify key milestones, interdependencies, and critical path activities across project life cycles
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UK, EMEA, and Asia to ensure consistency and clarity in programme delivery
- Provide clear reporting, schedule analytics, and early warning insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Support project recovery, acceleration strategies, and reforecasting where needed
- Ensure alignment between schedule, commercial plans, and overall delivery strategy
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior or lead project scheduling role within construction or consultancy
- Track record working on large-scale projects (£500m–£1bn+), ideally including both residential and infrastructure
- Proficient in industry scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, risk analysis, earned value management, and schedule recovery techniques
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally connected environment
