Capstone Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious privately owned international hotel group to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join its growing Design & Projects team in London. With a collection of luxury hotels across the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and South Africa, the business has embarked on an exciting long-term investment programme, reinvesting annually across its portfolio. Following a strategic review of its property function, this newly created position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of one of hospitality's most respected brands.
Working closely with the Property & Design Director, you will lead a varied programme of refurbishment and development projects across the portfolio. Projects range from full restaurant renovations and bedroom refurbishments through to wider capital improvement programmes, infrastructure upgrades and strategic CapEx planning. This is a client-side role with significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence long-term asset investment decisions.
The Role
- Lead multiple refurbishment and development projects from feasibility through to completion.
- Support annual CapEx planning, forecasting and long-term asset strategy.
- Procure and manage consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, programmes and reporting.
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction and handover activities.
- Work closely with hotel General Managers and Engineering teams to plan future investment.
- Help develop project management processes and systems within a growing in-house team.
About You
You could currently be working client-side, for a project management consultancy or contractor, but will have experience delivering high-quality hospitality or residential projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years' project management experience.
- Experience delivering hotel, luxury residential or high-end refurbishment projects.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and procurement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine desire to help shape a growing team.
