This is an exciting opportunity for an Estate & Asset Manager to join a primary regional commercial and business aviation airport in Oxfordshire. Located in the heart of one of Europe’s fastest growing and most prosperous regions, the airport has been the fastest growing for private and business aviation in the UK since 2007.
About you
- MRICS or degree or masters in property related discipline preferred.
- Self-motivated & enthusiastic, focused on delivering the best possible result for customers.
- An understanding of business development and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry & commercial awareness.
- Investor property management experience useful.
- Up to date knowledge of current legislation and case law relevant to commercial leasing and property management.
- Experience in managing service charges.
About the role
- Review and evaluate annual contracts with third-party service providers to ensure scope, pricing, and performance align with operational needs and budgetary goals; recommend renewals, renegotiations, or alternative vendors as appropriate.
- Serve as the point of contact for tenants, maintaining open communication and addressing concerns, always ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Manage property leasing activities including negotiations, renewals, and lease administration.
- Assist Finance Director with preparing the annual Service Charge budget and manage Service Charge operating budget and proposed capital expenditure plans.
- Work with Property Accountant to ensure accuracy of expense allocations, coding, and accruals in financial reporting systems.
- Responsible for all property statutory compliance, including the management of the property management database.
- Conduct building inspections ensuring compliance with health and safety, building code requirements and occupancy rules in accordance with statutory and lease requirements.
