A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its established and expanding Programme and Project Management team in London within its Water team. Projects will focus on the delivery of significant water infrastructure programmes for major public and regulatory clients.
The role involves acting as the day‐to‐day project manager on a variety of medium to complex water infrastructure projects, programmes and frameworks. You will work closely with client and project teams to define project briefs, shape delivery strategies, and oversee multidisciplinary design teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will bring experience within the water sector with a track record of delivering large capital projects, either in a significant supporting role on programmes exceeding £100m or as lead project manager on projects over £20m. You will have experience across design, procurement and construction stages, and be confident in coordinating multiple delivery disciplines including cost, scheduling, health and safety, reporting, quality, risk and planning. Knowledge of risk and value management processes and the ability to review and integrate consultant or contractor schedules is essential.
Requirements:- Experience managing projects across the full water sector lifecycle: definition, design, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Ability to lead and mentor project teams, ensuring successful delivery and strong client relationships.
- Understanding of advisory and consulting disciplines, including bidding and work winning.
- Experience in business case development, governance processes and gateway approvals.
