A specialist consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to support the front-end development and delivery of energy projects across the UK and EMEA from substations, power plants through to HV grid connections.
The role will focus on unlocking and increasing power capacity for major development sites, including data centres, working across the full project lifecycle from early feasibility and stakeholder engagement through to construction and commissioning.
Key responsibilities- Managing energy and power projects from front-end development through to delivery
- Supporting power strategy development to unlock grid capacity for development sites
- Delivering a varied portfolio of projects including substations, HV cable routes and gas turbine power stations
- Coordinating with DNOs, National Grid, designers, contractors and other key stakeholders
- Managing programme, cost, risk and technical delivery across multiple workstreams
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with regulatory, safety and quality requirements
- Experience delivering high-voltage or energy infrastructure projects
- Background in projects such as substations, power plants, HV cables, grid connections, solar/wind farms and battery energy storage solutions
- Strong understanding of power and energy project lifecycles
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
