The Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior to Associate level Quantity Surveyor to join a leading, well-established consultancy working on one of London’s largest and most high-profile airport environments. This role offers the chance to be at the forefront of major redevelopment programmes, delivering a diverse portfolio of both landside and airside projects that are critical to the future of UK aviation infrastructure. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering complex construction projects, guiding them from early-stage feasibility through to successful completion. This is a client-facing position with significant responsibility, offering exposure to major capital works within a live operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cost management activities across projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and financial reports
  • Administer contracts under NEC3/NEC4 forms
  • Provide commercial advice and risk management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contractor engagement
  • Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support and mentor junior team members (Associate level particularly)

About You

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts (essential)
  • Experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle
  • Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively within complex, fast-paced environments
  • Aviation project experience is desirable but not essential
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards (preferred for Senior, expected for Associate)
