Freelance Planner – Super Prime Development
Location: Hybrid (1 day on site in Mayfair, 2 days remote)
Rate: £600 – £700 per day (outside IR35)
Schedule: Part-time (3 days per week)
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Planner to support the delivery of a super prime spa development valued at £15m, forming part of a larger high-profile scheme in Mayfair. This is a part-time freelance role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a prestigious project in one of London’s most sought-after locations.
The successful candidate will bring strong Asta Powerproject planning expertise with a particular focus on fit-out programming, ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standard, on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed construction programmes using Asta Powerproject.
- Oversee and track progress of the spa fit-out, ensuring alignment with the wider development programme.
- Provide clear reporting, critical path analysis, and updates for project stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and the client team to ensure effective programme delivery.
- Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and look-ahead programmes to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with project timescales and contribute to achieving delivery excellence on a high-value, luxury scheme.

About You
- Proven experience as a Planner on complex construction projects.
- Must have contractor-side experience (essential).
- Strong track record working on high-end residential, hospitality, or super prime developments.
- Expertise with Asta Powerproject is essential.
- Solid understanding of fit-out sequencing, methodologies, and subcontractor integration.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, able to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to deliver results working part-time within a hybrid model.
