Job Title: MEP Project Manager
Location: Mayfair, Central London
Day Rate: Up to £500 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a £15m+ MEP package within a landmark £500m+ super-prime residential redevelopment in Mayfair. This flagship scheme involves the transformation of a historic site into an exclusive collection of ultra-luxury apartments and penthouses, with an emphasis on bespoke interiors and exceptional craftsmanship.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in one of London’s most prestigious developments, ensuring that complex MEP works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, programme, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design coordination for the MEP scope, including BIM integration.
- Resolve design and on-site challenges between shell & core services and fit-out works with proactive, programme-focused solutions.
- Manage sequencing and installation of all MEP systems.
- Lead and oversee MEP trade contractors, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, and quality targets.
- Prepare scopes and manage procurement of mechanical, electrical, and public health trade contractors.
- Supervise MEP installations to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and Employer’s Requirements.
- Implement strong quality assurance and health & safety procedures.
- Control budgets and schedules for the MEP package, maintaining alignment with project milestones.
- Provide clear and timely progress updates to stakeholders.
- Identify design or Employer’s Requirement non-compliance early, recommending cost- and programme-efficient solutions.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems to the client.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing and delivering MEP packages on complex, high-value construction projects.
- Strong track record within high-end residential, hospitality, or super-prime schemes.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP installation sequencing, trade contractor management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
