This FTSE-listed property investment and development company is focused on delivering best-in-class workspaces across Central London. Known for its design-led approach, the business combines innovation, sustainability, and exceptional customer experience to shape some of the city’s most inspiring flexible work environments. With a bold vision to expand its flexible workspace footprint from 500,000 sq ft to 1 million sq ft by 2028, the company is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation.
This is a newly created, permanent opportunity to support the delivery of Day 2 fit-out and refresh projects across the company's expanding flex workspace portfolio. You’ll manage small works and minor refurbishments that enhance and maintain high-quality, operational workspace experiences. Though your primary focus will be Day 2 projects (~70–80%), you’ll occasionally support Day 1 delivery as part of a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of Day 2 projects (up to £250k), including meeting rooms, phone booths, FF&E, paintwork, flooring, dressing, planting, joinery, and lighting.
- Conduct site visits and scoping sessions with project managers, leasing, customer experience, and portfolio teams.
- Produce design documentation using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp — including GA sets, finishes, layouts, lighting plans, and joinery details.
- Manage FF&E specification and procurement — sourcing, pricing, and selecting fabrics, furniture, rugs, and lighting, with an emphasis on reusing inventory where feasible.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold design and delivery standards.
- Support compliance, procurement, and project documentation through SharePoint.
- 8–10 years’ experience in interior or workplace design.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Proven experience with Day 2 or post-occupancy fit-out and refresh projects.
- Deep knowledge of FF&E sourcing and supplier management.
- Comfortable working on-site and directly coordinating with contractors.
- Strong project management and costing skills — able to juggle multiple active projects.
- Pragmatic and delivery-focused — capable of executing quick-turnaround tasks with care.
- Collaborative and ego-free — thrives in a team-oriented, delivery-focused environment.
- Adaptable and flexible — happy to support Day 1 delivery when needed.
- Highly organised and proactive — enjoys working at pace in an embedded team.
- Passionate about creating high-quality workspaces and exceptional user experiences.
- Degree-qualified in interior design or architecture.
- Experience with a leading design studio in workplace or flexible workspace design.
- Knowledge of coworking/flex operators or premium workplace environments.
- Hospitality design experience a plus (particularly in FF&E, art, and styling).
