With a diverse portfolio of established high street and premium names, they continue to push boundaries in consumer experience and commercial growth.This position sits within the Capital Expenditure team, offering commercial support across a wide range of project types, including new store openings and refurbishments across the UK and EU.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing feasibility estimates and supporting concept design to assist with development appraisals
- Managing monthly cost reports and cashflows across a global programme
- Maintaining and refining commercial and contractual documentation
- Supporting the cost model and working closely with internal stakeholders to adapt to changing requirements
You’ll be working alongside external Quantity Surveyors and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in retail fit-out and new store development is highly desirable, particularly across EU markets. You should be confident in negotiation, stakeholder communication, and managing high-value projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying, and 3-5 years of experience in Cost Management
- An in-depth experience of projects exceeding £1m
- Sound knowledge of legal and contractual frameworks
- Experience of all RIBA stages of the design process from conception through to delivery.
- Understanding of Retail Construction coupled with good understanding of Building Regulations and Compliance.
- Must have a high level of financial appraisal skill and keen eye for detail
