I am working on behalf of an established, independent construction and property consultancy with a strong UK and international presence. The firm delivers cost management services across sectors including commercial, office, residential, fit out and hospitality. Known for its collaborative, partner-led culture, the business offers exposure to high-profile projects, strong mentorship and clear progression pathways.
They are recruiting for a key position within the London Cost Management team, supporting senior colleagues in the delivery of projects across both pre and post-contract stages. You will take responsibility for defined project packages, act as a day-to-day contact for clients and contractors, and continue developing your technical and commercial expertise within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Support procurement strategies and manage tender documentation
- Prepare cost plans, budgets and detailed cost reports
- Monitor construction budgets and cashflow forecasts
- Assist with valuations, variations and final accounts (JCT preferred)
- Undertake measurement using CostX and prepare detailed estimates
- Monitor risk, change control and cost movement across project stages
- Degree qualified MRICS preferred (support available if not yet chartered)
- Pre & post-contract experience
- Experience working under JCT contracts desirable
- Consultancy background preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CostX
- Strong analytical and client‑facing skills
