This is an exciting opportunity to join one of London’s largest owners and operators of flexible workspace, at a pivotal point in its evolution. With a new leadership team in place and significant investment committed across a substantial London portfolio, the business is undertaking an ambitious programme of asset repositioning, refurbishment and customer experience enhancement. Over £55m of capital projects are planned this year alone, with further investment anticipated in the years ahead.

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will take ownership of multiple refurbishment and fit‑out projects ranging from £500k to £5m across a diverse commercial property portfolio. This is a genuinely hands‑on client‑side role. You will be expected to challenge consultants, interrogate designs, review specifications in detail and drive projects from concept through to completion. The team prides itself on being technically strong and highly engaged in the detail rather than simply managing external consultants.

Responsibilities
  • Lead refurbishment and office fit‑out projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage external consultants, contractors and professional teams.
  • Review and challenge design proposals, specifications and technical information.
  • Oversee procurement, cost management, programme delivery and governance approvals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to asset management teams on construction and refurbishment matters.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.
  • Support wider portfolio improvement initiatives and capital investment programmes.
Requirements
  • Ideally 5+ years’ project management experience within the commercial property sector.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering office refurbishment and fit‑out projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of construction, services and project delivery.
  • Comfortable reviewing drawings, specifications and consultant outputs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Client‑side experience advantageous but not essential.
  • Professional qualification desirable but not essential.
