We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior PMO Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering a major capital programme within a unique and historically significant environment. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and lead a Programme Management Office for a large-scale, multi-year development programme.

About the Role

You will be seconded into a high-profile client organisation, supporting a diverse and complex portfolio of projects at a historic site. The programme includes a wide range of developments such as new operational facilities, large-scale infrastructure works, and specialist buildings. With a total CapEx of approximately £200 million over four years, this role will be central to ensuring strong governance, consistency, and strategic oversight across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and lead the PMO function from the ground up
  • Implement robust programme governance, reporting, and controls
  • Provide strategic oversight across a varied portfolio of projects
  • Support senior stakeholders with clear, concise programme insights
  • Foster strong collaboration across project teams and stakeholders
  • Manage competing priorities and resolve challenges diplomatically

  • Proven experience operating at Senior Project Manager/PMO Lead level
  • Strong PMO expertise, including setting up or transforming PMO functions
