Capstone Recruitment is working with a leading care provider seeking an Assistant Development Project Manager to help oversee and deliver key property development projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing sector within mental health care, managing projects with a strong focus on modular construction. The role will involve frequent travel, stakeholder coordination, and delivery responsibility to meet the group’s expanding property demands.
Reporting to the Development Project Manager, you’ll assist in managing third-party contractors and consultants, ensuring best-in-class delivery and value across all projects. You’ll play a vital role in the full project lifecycle—from site acquisition and planning through to design, procurement, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:- Support all stages of development including feasibility, planning, design, and construction.
- Monitor costs, timelines, and progress, presenting reports to the senior leadership team.
- Engage with local authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance and delivery excellence.
- Assist in the appointment of professional teams and the preparation of contract documentation.
- Attend site meetings and ensure all works align with contract and quality requirements.
You’re a confident and capable project coordinator with:
- A construction-related degree and 3–5 years’ experience.
- Ideally MRICS or MCIOB chartered status (or working towards).
- A strong understanding of development and planning processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
