Role Overview
Capstone Foster Care has developed a Multidisciplinary Assessment, Treatment and Therapy Service (MATTS) which provides assessment, consultation and treatment to children and young people looked after in fostering placements. The role offers part‑time, sessional contract work for self‑employed therapists, commissioned to undertake specific pieces of assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support to foster carers and the wider professional network.
- Conduct specialist assessment of children or young people.
- Deliver direct intervention based on therapeutic assessment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Licensed or qualified Systemic Family Therapist.
- Experience working with children who have experienced trauma and attachment issues.
- Experience working with children who have Autism or ADHD is desirable.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Compensation
Hourly rate plus mileage.
Work Structure
The role is part‑time, sessional, and the therapist will work as a self‑employed contractor.
