We are looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our friendly team!
Location: Home Based
Salary: Highly Competitive
Full Time Fixed Term 12 month contract. Home based with an expectation to attend the Barnsley office 1 day per week.
Working for Capstone Foster Care as a Supervising Social Worker, you will be looking after a very manageable caseload of foster families within the Barnsley and Bradford area. You will work in partnership with other team members to provide a high quality and safe service for our foster families and the children/young people they look after.

As a Supervising Social Worker in the team, you must have the ability to:
- Manage your own caseload whilst meeting deadlines
- Evidence experience in frontline social work in Childcare and Form F's
- Demonstrate strong analytical and assessment skills
- Have the ability to effectively communicate with children and their parents
- Promote great outcomes for all children and young people looked after by Capstone Foster Care.
Applicants must have:
- A relevant Social Work qualification and be SWE registered
- Be experienced within fostering
- Understand the impact of trauma and therapeutic parenting
- Knowledge of fostering and childcare legislation
- Be eligible to work within the UK
- Have a full driving licence and transport
