The Employment division comprises over 70 fee earners and, as the UK's leading supplier of employment law services to employers in the health and social care sectors, carries out work for around 200 NHS and private healthcare bodies throughout the UK, alongside clients in all our other major sectors. The division provides legal advice and training on the full range of employment law issues, supporting clients from board level to generalist HR practitioners, and has a reputation for handling the most sensitive and high-profile employment law cases.

The Role and Responsibilities

The Employment and Pensions Division are looking for a Senior Associate to be based in our London office. The role will involve working on a range of complex contentious and non-contentious matters including general employment advisory work, the handling of complex employment tribunal claims, whistleblowing, high profile cases, advising on reorganisation and redundancy issues and the application of healthcare legislation to routine employment law scenarios. The post-holder will also be involved in supervision and delegation and delivery of client training/client care.

Skills and Experience

The candidate should have experience of employment litigation, good client handling skills and be able to work well with other team members.
