Scope of Work: The quality and breadth of work that we carry out is extremely wide. Whilst we work in specialist sectors, the fundamentals of property law still of course apply. This means we deal with significant volumes of development work (for example in relation to new hospital and health centre developments as well as major Local Government regeneration schemes), landlord and tenant, asset management and major land sales. We also have a dedicated, specialist property litigation and primary care teams.
The Role and Responsibilities: Our Property Litigation team, which is based within our Real Estate department, is seeking a Senior Associate (4PQE+) to join our rapidly growing team.

- Advising on restrictive covenants and easements for site disposals;
- 1954 Act security of tenure and lease renewals;
- Court action to remove a 'bed blocker' for an NHS trust;
- Removing squatters from a central London property with an IPO for a charity;
- Court proceedings and arbitrations involving GP partnership disputes;
- Multi-million pound dilapidations dispute;
- Break notices to facilitate estate re‐organisation;
- Judicial review of a planning decision for development of a clinical unit;
- Recovery of arrears from commercial tenants;
A brilliant range of clients, many of whom are very well known organisations, that are continuously in the public eye.

1,350 hours billable hours target (FTE) with two types of bonus scheme. The first is a profit-share scheme that applies when chargeable hours targets are exceeded. The second is a discretionary scheme which rewards achievements in other areas including CSR and business development.
Training and development. Property litigation experience is essential; public sector and partnership disputes experience is desirable but not vital.
