We are currently growing our ETRM/CTRM Endur practice and are looking for experienced Managing Endur Consultants with expertise in Commodity or Energy markets and Trading and Risk Management System Implementations. You will be leading the implementation/upgrade of Endur, bringing SME knowledge in deal modelling, deal valuations, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and accounting for commodities and energy. You will ensure successful project delivery, employing consultancy and project management best practices. In addition, you will be supporting the growth of capSpire’s Energy and Commodities consulting practice area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advisory services to clients on the implementation of Endur Gas, Power, Renewables, LNG, Agriculture or Crude and Refined Products upgrades or implementations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Endur for all functional aspects for both physical products & derivatives.
- Collaborate with clients and prospects to determine business requirements and processes to be addressed by key areas of the Endur solution, with the ability to identify improvement potential and drive change management.
- Lead functional implementation work, encompassing design, configuration, functional testing, and support transition to operations of Endur solution.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in key modules of Endur and in commodity/energy operations, financial products, risk management, and accounting.
- Document business requirements, implementation designs, test plans/results and other deliverables required by the project.
- Follow implementation best practices, documentation standards, and resolution process flow for all project deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical teams to create customisations based on specific client needs.
- Provide industry and functional advisory as needed.
- Apply appropriate resourcing techniques given project-specific needs, risks, and differences in core project team member skill levels and relevant modules to be delivered in client projects.
- Maintain highly effective communication with client and internal stakeholders and adept in handling business changes and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Provide guidance and training on Endur functionality and general ETRM/CTRM topics.
- Support the development and growth of junior consultants.
Skills:
- Deep knowledge in key modules of Endur and commodity/energy operations with working knowledge of V19 and above.
- Knowledge of Endur risk and valuation functionality including results (MTM, PnL, VAR), and EOD automation (TPM and Services Manager).
- Deep knowledge of standard and customisation approaches for implementation of requirements, support for reporting, building complex desktops, APM pages, and pre/post-processing logic.
- Understanding of Endur architecture and best implementation practices to optimize its strengths for the client solution.
- Strong functional knowledge and understanding of Gas, Power, Renewables, LNG or Crude and Refined Products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and Project Management skills.
- Strong organisational & analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and work independently or in a team.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 7+ years hands-on with Endur as a lead / principal consultant or team lead / project manager with working knowledge of V19 and above.
- At least 10+ years of industry work experience with 3+ years of experience in comparable consulting services.
- Should have been a key part of at least two large engagements for Endur end-to-end implementation or upgrade projects in Gas, Power, Renewables, LNG or Crude and Refined Products.
- Deep understanding of various functional areas and relevant modules of Endur.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive testing and quality assurance activities to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of Endur solutions.
- Worked as part of a cross-cultural/geographical team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
- Worked as part of a project team structure and delivered results with limited guidance.
- Ability to travel to onsite client locations for limited time as per project requirement.
Preferred Experience:
- Subject matter expert or functional consultant in Commodity Trading, Risk or Logistics business areas in large enterprise environments.
- Worked in Front, Middle or Back Office functions with specialty in any of the following: Trading (Paper, Physical), Risk (Market, Credit, Operational, Compliance, etc.), Logistics (Pipeline, Vessel, Nomination through Demurrage, etc.) or Settlements (AR/AP Process, Invoice Management, etc.).
- Experience with Endur gMotion or cMotion modules would be advantageous.
