The AI Operating System for Private Capital. Capsa AI Private capital funds have to find potential investments, research and analyse them thoroughly, monitor them over time, drive improvements, and decide when to buy and sell. Historically, these processes have run on people; we are building the AI Operating System that will run them in the future. We're focused, ambitious, and obsessed with building a category-defining company. In the last 12 months we've grown ARR 15x, achieved product–market fit with leading multi-billion-dollar PE firms, and expanded across the US, UK, and Europe. Now we're doubling down: we've raised a large Series A from top-tier VC investors to scale the team. We're hiring hyper-talented people who want to work at the forefront of AI and revolutionise an industry.

At a Glance:

  • Role: Senior Platform Engineer
  • Location: London, UK (Hybrid, in-person 4 days per week)
  • Team: Platform & Security
  • Compensation: Top of market. Competitive base + ESOP

The role:

  • Own the infrastructure that an AI platform for the world's leading PE firms runs on.
  • Join the Platform & Security team and take responsibility for our Kubernetes estate, multi-cloud footprint (Azure primary, plus AWS and GCP), Istio service mesh, Terraform-managed infrastructure, and LGTM observability stack, ensuring security is built into every layer of the platform.
  • Shape how our engineers ship: the paved roads, CI/CD pipelines, and guardrails that let a fast-moving product team deploy confidently without thinking about the infrastructure underneath.

The opportunity:

  • Ownership: You'll own the platform end to end. You'll make the architecture calls, ship them, and operate them.
  • Foundations: We're at the Series A inflection point. The platform decisions you make now will carry the company through the next 10x.
  • Growth: You'll work alongside a team of startup veterans and take on real responsibility from day one.
  • Upside: You'll receive meaningful equity in a company that grew 15x last year.
  • Impact: You'll leave an indelible mark on an industry responsible for ~7% of US GDP.

Recent projects include:

  • Kubernetes at the core: Operating and scaling our K8s clusters: GitOps deployments with ArgoCD and Helm, networking with Istio, and increasingly demanding stateful and compute-heavy workloads.
  • AI infrastructure: Self-hosted model serving and GPU workloads on Kubernetes as we bring more of our AI stack in-house, alongside our existing self-hosted search cluster.
  • Infrastructure as code: A multi-cloud Terraform estate spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP, built for repeatability, auditability, and least privilege.
  • Observability: Our LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir), making the platform's behaviour legible to every engineer on the team.
  • Security & compliance: Identity and access, secrets management, network policy, and the hardening and compliance work our enterprise customers demand.

Your track record:

  • High performance environment. Four or more years running production infrastructure at a venture-backed startup or top tech firm, owning systems end to end.
  • Kubernetes in production, at depth. Designed, operated, and debugged real clusters under load.
  • GitOps with ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform as your default.
  • Security is how you build. You design with IAM, secrets, and network boundaries in mind from the start.
  • You love this stuff. Curious about how things work under the hood; the kind of person who self-hosts or runs a homelab.
  • Platform engineering is your craft. Comfortable at pace. Fast-moving environments are where you do your best work.

Nice to have:

  • GPU and LLM workloads on Kubernetes (the strongest plus, it's where we're heading).
  • Istio or other service mesh.
  • Multi-cloud (we're Azure first with AWS and GCP).
  • The LGTM observability stack.
  • Compliance work (SOC 2, ISO 27001).

How you operate:

  • Accountable: You take responsibility for what you build and make sure it has a positive impact on our customers and the team. You run what you ship, including the on-call and incidents that come with it.
  • Secure by default: You believe the easy path should be the safe path, and you build the guardrails that make it so.
  • Thoughtful: You think deeply about the problems you're solving and the changes you're making. You use AI to sharpen your own thinking, not to outsource it.
  • Pragmatic: You accept that time is limited and information is incomplete. You make progress regardless, and adjust as we learn more.

If this opportunity excites you, we'd like to meet you. Initial conversations are direct and substantive, going deep on the work, the team, and what you'd own in the first six months.
