We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservationist to manage the brandβs reservation system, ensuring that all bookings are handled efficiently and with care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Reservationist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, managing bookings, answering inquiries, and helping ensure a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
β Handle all incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring bookings are accurately recorded and confirmed.
β Manage the reservation system and seating arrangements to optimize table availability and guest flow.
β Communicate with guests to confirm reservations, answer questions, and accommodate any special requests or dietary needs.
β Assist in coordinating large parties, private events, and special occasions, working closely with the restaurant management team.
β Monitor the restaurantβs seating capacity, ensuring reservations are spaced appropriately to avoid overbooking.
β Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
β Keep accurate records of guest preferences and special requests to enhance the overall guest experience.
β Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure that any last-minute changes to reservations are effectively communicated.
β Stay informed about the restaurantβs menu, specials, promotions, and events to provide up-to-date information to guests.
Requirements:
β Previous experience as a Reservationist or in a similar role within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
β Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a warm and professional demeanour.
β Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple reservations and guest requests.
β Proficiency with reservation management systems (experience with platforms like OpenTable or SevenRooms is preferred).
