As the brand continues to grow globally, we are looking for an exceptional Marketing Director to lead and evolve the marketing vision for Sexy Fish across multiple markets.
The Marketing Director will be responsible for shaping and delivering the global marketing strategy for Sexy Fish, ensuring brand consistency while driving commercial performance, guest engagement and cultural relevance across all locations. This is a senior leadership role for a highly creative and commercially minded marketer who understands luxury, lifestyle, hospitality and brand storytelling. The successful candidate will oversee brand marketing, digital, social, PR alignment, partnerships, campaigns, guest engagement and new opening support, working closely with operational and creative teams to elevate Sexy Fish’s presence globally.
Key Responsibilities- Detailed knowledge of all ongoing projects for all sites and their status.
- Understand key challenges to support the team and business stakeholders.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of financial goals for each site while ensuring budgets/costs are managed.
- Responsible for protecting the brand.
- Act as key liaison between operations and the central marketing function.
- Oversee department infrastructure and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
- Manage staff grievances or issues, conduct reviews and develop the team to maintain low turnover.
- Drive revenue through campaigns to achieve KPIs and revenue targets.
- Provide post‑campaign reporting and summary with key learnings to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce innovative campaign ideas that can be delivered through a multi‑channel implementation strategy.
- Manage the relationship with the wider business, communicating brand activity and plans.
- Negotiate and plan partnership marketing initiatives.
- Generate innovative brand activity ideas to increase brand profile and awareness.
- Lead weekly cross‑departmental meetings to align on key actions and timelines.
- Attend weekly/monthly Ops or GM meetings, present activity overview and key focus based on revenue updates and site status, fostering engagement and feedback.
- Manage budget, including monthly review of accruals, status and savings opportunities prior to P&L closure with the Group Marketing Director.
- Organisational: manage workflow, deadlines, people, projects and resources.
- Creativity: lead innovative campaigns and activations, demonstrating a strong track record and awareness of current advertising and graphic design trends.
- Communication and presentation: excellent written and verbal skills, confident pitch to senior leadership and team.
- Team collaboration: liaise well with the Head of Marketing and wider team.
- Interpersonal: strong work ethic, clear creative vision, open to others’ ideas, resilient under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Digital and graphic design: extensive knowledge of graphic design software, film‑making and video editing, copywriting and HTML.
- Extensive marketing experience within luxury brands or hospitality.
- Passionate about food and restaurants, with a keen interest in the food scene (desirable).
- Highly motivated, works well under pressure and tight deadlines across multiple sites.
- Innovative thinker.
- Confident communicator with excellent written skills.
- Extensive knowledge of all marketing channels.
- Historical experience with partnership marketing and event creation and planning.
