This is a home based role with one day per week (or when required) in the London office.
SCOPE OF THE ROLEThis CBM role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse set of Grocery customers in a very established and strategically important area of the GB business. You will have full P&L responsibility for your customers and support the development of the long-term strategy with the Head of Sales.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- You are the first point of contact for your customers, lead all negotiations and escalate where necessary.
- You take P&L responsibility for delivering customer volume, NOS, Gross Margin vs. the agreed Annual Plan (AP).
- You support the development of the revenue growth management and pack price architecture of your channel in conjunction with your peers and head of sales.
- You will be responsible for building a stakeholder map and influencing the relevant stakeholders at your customers to ensure best in class visibility, promotions, brand activations and listings of the Capri-Sun brand.
- You are responsible for negotiating and delivering the joint business plans (JBPs) with your customers.
- You are responsible for cost planning and cost notifications regarding projects and activities of your customers.
- You are responsible for forecast accuracy vs. the agreed AP target - Leading the monthly forecast and P&L review process for your customers. Recommending course corrections where necessary.
- You manage the trade spend budget with your customers vs. the agreed AP targets.
- You analyse and evaluate both trade spend and promotional investment effectiveness, presenting findings and making recommendations on what works and does not work.
- Strong understanding of the GB retail, discounter and E-commerce landscape along with a minimum of 3 years' experience working within these channels.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of working as a National Account Manager, Customer Business Manager or equivalent in FMCG in GB.
- You display ownership mentality with an assigned group of customers, delivering results & seeking new opportunities.
- You will be collaborating with internal stakeholders and with external senior buyers regularly. Hence emotional intelligence and understanding the importance of strong cross-functional collaboration is key to success in this role.
- You are a natural problem solver and possess strong organisational skills.
- You demonstrate a sense of urgency yet remain calm under pressure.
- You are resilient & self-motivated to see projects through to completion.
- You are a British citizen or have the right to work in the UK and are willing to come to the London office one day per week or as required.
