CapRelease is hiring a Marketing Executive to support content, campaigns, social media and growth activity across our marketing function. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their marketing career who wants range, pace and direct mentorship. You’ll work closely with our CMO across content, social, email, web, partner marketing, events and short-form video.
About CapRelease: CapRelease provides £20k to £1m in working capital to UK eCommerce brands. We use live inventory, sales, accounting and banking data to assess businesses more clearly than traditional lenders. This helps us provide smarter funding, more competitive pricing and facilities that can grow with our customers. We’re FCA registered, recently funded and growing.
The role: This is a hands-on generalist marketing role. You’ll help create content, run campaigns, support social media, update the website, assist with short-form video, support partner marketing and track performance. It’s a good fit if you want broad marketing experience, direct mentorship and the chance to see your work go live quickly. It is not the right fit if you want to specialise in one narrow channel or wait months for work to be approved. You won’t be expected to know everything on day one. You will need to be curious, organised, proactive and willing to learn quickly.
What you’ll do:
- Create and publish content across the blog, social media, email and website
- Support short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram and paid campaigns, including ideas, scripts, simple edits and repurposing existing assets
- Help turn CapRelease’s ideas, customer stories and market insight into posts, carousels, short videos, emails and campaign content
- Build and run email campaigns in Mailchimp and Apollo, including newsletters, nurtures and partner comms
- Help grow CapRelease’s LinkedIn presence with strong posts, founder-led content and useful industry commentary
- Build landing pages in Webflow and help keep the website up to date
- Support events, webinars and 3PL partner co-marketing
- Track performance in Google Analytics and use the learnings to improve future campaigns
- Monitor the eCommerce, fintech and logistics markets for useful content and campaign ideas
- Support our brand, messaging and positioning work with fresh ideas, market research and content insight
- Bring ideas for new content formats, campaign angles, channels and creative tests
Requirements:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- 1 to 2 years of marketing experience, including internships, placements, or freelance work
- Strong written English and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Comfortable working across email, social, content and web
- Familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp, Canva, Google Analytics or similar
- Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-moving team
- Experience in B2B, fintech, eCommerce or SaaS marketing
- Familiarity with Webflow, WordPress or another CMS
- Basic understanding of SEO, paid media or marketing automation
- Experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe or similar design tools
- Experience creating social content, short-form video, reels, TikToks, LinkedIn posts or simple edited clips
- Interest in eCommerce, logistics or financial services
- Interest in using AI tools to improve marketing workflows
What you get:
- £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working from our London office
- Direct mentorship from Kevan, our CMO
- Regular exposure to Founders
- Access to modern AI tools, including Claude, across content, research, planning and campaign work
- Broad marketing experience across content, campaigns, web, email, events, partner marketing and social video
- Room to grow into a bigger marketing role as the function expands
