We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable SHEQ Advisor to join our team. The role is based in Falmer, but travel to sites across the Southeast will be required. In this role, you will provide expert support and advice on all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
You will help deliver a culture of continual improvement by conducting audits and inspections, supporting incident investigations, producing reports, and delivering SHEQ inductions and learning materials. The position also involves reviewing risk assessments, attending client and internal SHEQ meetings, and supporting the development of management systems to maintain the highest standards across our operations.
The successful candidate will be required to have a full, clean UK driving license and will travel to operational sites in the Southeast as part of their role.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience & Knowledge: Proven background within construction, utilities, or a similar industry.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and strong understanding of ISO standards.
- Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
- Proactive Approach: Ability to identify risks, implement improvements, and drive a positive safety culture.
- IT Competence: Comfortable using SHEQ management systems and reporting tools.
