Cappagh Contractors are seeking a Contract Support Coordinator to join our team on the Portsmouth Water AMP8 framework. In this role, you’ll provide vital support to our contracts function, help coordinate programme logistics, maintain key data and records, and ensure our customer and quality standards remain high. This role is essential in supporting contract delivery functions, focusing on safety, procurement, efficient logistics, data accuracy, customer service, and maintaining high quality throughout the programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the contracts team, helping manage daily operations to ensure safety best practices are followed.
- Monitor project progress, track performance data, and collate reports relating to health & safety, logistics, and quality metrics.
- Assist with scheduling, resource planning, and logistics to enable smooth field operations.
- Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to relay information and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Support with document management, compliance tracking, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing quality control checklists, compliance documents, and customer communications.
- Respond promptly to customer and stakeholder queries, always maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Experience in an administrative, project support, procurement, or coordination role within utilities, construction, or a similar industry.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Genuine commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Comfortable using data and digital tools for reporting and tracking.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
- Relevant training or qualifications in administration, business support, or project coordination preferred.
