Cappagh Contractors are seeking a driven Contracts Manager to lead our Lot B Smart Metering initiative as part of the Portsmouth Water AMP8 framework. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of contract delivery, ensuring work is executed with the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and quality. This role demands a proactive, data- driven approach to manage logistics, programme delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all contract activities within Lot B Smart Metering, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination of field teams and subcontractors.
- Champion a safety-first culture, undertaking regular audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
- Utilise data analytics and reporting to drive operational performance and decision-making.
- Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials, resources, and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance, carrying out regular inspections and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer needs are at the heart of service delivery.
- Prepare and present progress reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing contracts in utilities, metering, or related civil engineering sectors.
- Demonstrable commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
