At Dynamo AI, we help enterprises deploy AI systems that are reliable, secure, observable, scalable and production-ready. As organizations accelerate adoption of Generative AI, they face growing challenges around reliability, governance, latency, safety, compliance, and operational control. Dynamo AI provides the infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, and real-time guardrails that allow enterprises to confidently operationalize AI at scale.
Forward Deployed Engineers at Dynamo AI work directly with enterprise customers to deploy Dynamo’s flagship products (DynamoEval, DynamoGuard, AgentWarden) into real-world client environments. This role involves integrating AI guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and agentic observability capabilities into complex enterprise ecosystems — particularly within regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and government.
Success in this role requires strong technical depth, curiosity, patience, and the ability to navigate complex operational and governance requirements while helping customers accelerate the path from experimentation to reliable production deployment.
About the Role
We are looking for Lead Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with enterprise customers to help deploy, integrate, and operationalize AI systems in real-world production environments. You will work closely with customer engineering teams to integrate Dynamo AI’s platform into complex enterprise ecosystems while helping organizations navigate the operational, governance, and technical challenges of deploying AI at scale.
Forward Deployed Engineers act as the technical bridge between customers and Dynamo AI’s product and engineering teams. You will help customers implement AI guardrails, evaluation systems, observability workflows, and deployment architectures that meet enterprise requirements around reliability, security, compliance, and performance.
This role requires strong technical depth, curiosity, patience, and a willingness to work through complex enterprise environments. Many of our customers operate highly regulated systems with deeply embedded legacy infrastructure, approval workflows, and operational constraints. Success in this role comes from being able to understand these environments deeply, collaborate through ambiguity, and help customers incrementally operationalize AI safely and effectively.
You will regularly encounter unfamiliar enterprise systems, architectures, and governance processes — particularly within financial services, healthcare, government, and other regulated sectors. We value engineers who are excited to learn how these environments work and can thoughtfully adapt AI systems to fit real-world operational needs.
In This Role You’ll Solve Real-World Enterprise Problems
- Debug and troubleshoot complex deployment and integration challenges across customer environments
- Navigate ambiguity and adapt solutions to fit real-world operational and regulatory requirements
- Learn and work across a wide range of enterprise systems commonly used in regulated industries
- Balance technical excellence with pragmatism, reliability, security, and customer operational realities
Deploy and Operationalize AI Systems
- Work directly with customer engineering and platform teams to deploy Dynamo AI’s products into enterprise environments
- Design and implement integrations across enterprise AI workflows, APIs, infrastructure, and governance systems
- Help customers operationalize AI guardrails, evaluations, observability, and monitoring capabilities in production
- Support deployment architectures across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise environments
Bridge Product, Engineering, and Customer Needs
- Translate customer deployment challenges into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams
- Surface patterns and deployment learnings that improve Dynamo AI’s platform and implementation playbooks
- Work cross-functionally with research, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to improve customer outcomes
- Contribute to scalable deployment methodologies and technical best practices, to enhance release and deployment pipelines
- Assist in building releases, executing deployments, and resolving SaaS platform issues when needed
Partner Closely with Customers
- Work closely with customer stakeholders across engineering, infrastructure, security, risk, compliance, and operations teams
- Understand customer technical environments, operational requirements, and deployment constraints
- Help customers navigate enterprise AI governance, evaluation, and approval workflows required for production deployment
- Partner with internal customer success managers and forward deployed strategists to streamline deployment and operational processes that accelerate enterprise AI governance at scale
You Might Thrive In This Role If You
- Enjoy working directly with customers and solving practical engineering problems
- Are a team player and enjoy working closely with our forward deployed strategists to solve real-world enterprise challenges
- Are curious about how complex enterprises and regulated industries operate
- Have strong motivation to work through operational, governance, and technical constraints in large organizations
- Are excited about deploying frontier AI systems (e.g. DynamoGuard) into real-world production environments to make significant impact
- Enjoy learning new technologies, systems, and infrastructure domains rapidly
- Can communicate effectively with engineers and some non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong software engineering experience, especially in distributed systems, Kubernetes, APIs, platform engineering, and enterprise integrations
- Experience debugging and operating production systems in customer-facing environments
- Ability to navigate complex technical and organizational environments independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with Generative AI systems, LLM applications, AI infrastructure, or model deployment workflows
- Experience working in financial services, healthcare, government, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with enterprise security, governance, compliance, or risk management workflows
- Experience with AI evaluation, guardrails, observability, or monitoring systems
Why This Role
You will work directly with organizations deploying AI into critical real-world operations, helping ensure systems are reliable, secure, observable, scalable, and production-ready. This role is deeply focused on practical deployment and operationalization. You will help customers navigate the technical and organizational realities of enterprise AI adoption. You will gain exposure to a wide range of enterprise architectures, governance models, and operational workflows across regulated industries. Your work will directly influence how organizations safely deploy AI systems at scale, while shaping Dynamo AI’s deployment methodologies and product evolution.
