This role focuses on delivering high-quality plumbing and mechanical services across domestic and commercial properties. You will carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a professional standard. You will work independently or as part of a team, maintain accurate records, and represent the company professionally at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing and mechanical systems
- Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
- Carry out first and second fix plumbing works
- Perform testing and commissioning of systems
- Complete accurate job records and reports
- Conduct risk assessments and follow Health & Safety procedures
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota when required
- Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
Key Technical Knowledge & Experience (Essential)
- Gas Safe Registered (Domestic & Commercial)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in domestic and commercial environments
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable (Training can be provided)
- Unvented Hot Water (G3)
- LPG & Catering Gas Qualifications
- WRAS Water Regulations Certificate
- Knowledge of BMS and relevant safety training
