We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Assistant to help connect audiences with the extraordinary productions, artists and experiences that take place across our venues. From supporting press events and managing promotional materials to updating website content and making sure all our posters are up to date, you’ll help ensure our programme reaches the widest possible audience.

Capital Theatres operates three prominent venues in Edinburgh: Festival Theatre, King’s Theatre, and Studio Theatre. Our venues host a wide variety of performances, including drama, dance, opera, music, comedy, and cinema.

  • Festival Theatre (1915 seats) is one of the largest stages in the UK and regularly hosts major touring productions.
  • King’s Theatre (1125 seats) is one of Edinburgh's most cherished theatres and successfully reopened in August 2026 after undergoing an extensive refurbishment.
  • Studio Theatre (155 seats) plays an essential role in the development and presentation of new works in Edinburgh’s dynamic cultural scene.
