Join a professional services firm that is seeking an experienced VAT professional to join its expanding tax team.

This is a commercially focused opportunity combining VAT advisory work, client relationship management and new business development, with genuine scope to play a key role in growing the VAT offering.

The successful candidate will work closely with Partners and Head of Business and will develop relationships with new and existing clients, identify opportunities and support the conversion of new business.

They will advise on a broad range of VAT matters, contribute to proposals and pitches, manage client assignments and work closely with senior colleagues to develop the wider practice.

The role will also involve supporting junior team members and contributing to the delivery of high-quality advisory projects, which may include transactional work, VAT reviews and other specialist assignments.

Candidates should have strong VAT advisory experience gained within professional practice, excellent commercial and relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to develop business and generate new opportunities.

Strong technical VAT knowledge and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly are essential.

ACA, CA, CTA or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
