A leading professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Tax Compliance, Reporting and Audit practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior tax professional to play a pivotal role in supporting multinational and complex UK based groups with their global tax compliance, reporting and audit obligations.
Working within a growing and highly collaborative team, the successful candidate will act as a technical authority across corporate tax compliance, tax reporting and audit support, while also contributing to advisory projects, client relationship management and business development initiatives.
This role sits at the heart of a global offering that supports clients across a broad range of sectors, including large corporates, financial services, real estate and public sector bodies, both in the UK and internationally. The position offers genuine flexibility and working patterns adaptable around personal commitments.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and overseeing complex UK corporate tax compliance engagements
- Managing outsourced and co-sourced compliance arrangements, including global delivery models
- Acting as a technical point of contact on tax audits and complex tax matters
- Providing written and verbal advice on the tax implications of new legislation
- Supporting group and statutory tax reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP
- Driving efficiencies in tax processes, controls and use of technology
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
- Supporting business development activity, proposals and new service offerings
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
- Deep technical expertise in UK corporate tax compliance, ideally with large or complex groups
- Experience leading engagements and managing senior client relationships
- Exposure to tax reporting or audit of tax work
- Strong project management skills, particularly on large or multi-jurisdictional engagements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to developing others
