West London College is seeking an experienced and committed Lecturer in Foundation Learning to join our team on a maternity cover basis, starting mid‑May 2026. This role is ideal for a practitioner with extensive experience delivering Foundation Learning programmes, who is passionate about supporting learners with diverse needs to achieve positive outcomes.

Contract type: Maternity cover

Working pattern: Current timetable spread across three days per week

Location: West London College

The role: You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons, tracking learner progress, and contributing to a supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with curriculum and support teams to ensure learners are able to develop essential skills for progression.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has substantial experience in a similar Foundation Learning role
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and inclusive teaching practices
  • Is committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Holds, or is working towards, a recognised teaching qualification (or equivalent)
