As the successful applicant, you will play a key role in ensuring the branch runs efficiently, will motivate and support your team, and will ensure our customers receive the best service delivery. About the Role
As a Shift Manager, you will be joining a well‑trained, supportive and friendly team, providing a vital role in cash transportation to your local area.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of Branch Operations, overseeing a team of Delivery Drivers & Vault Operatives, ensuring deliveries, collections & storage activities are made safely, cost‑effectively and in accordance with customer service agreements.
You will champion our Customer First approach through product knowledge and understanding of the range of Loomis solutions, appreciating customer requirements and quality standards.
The role requires working flexibly and, as key holder, you will be expected to be available for out‑of‑hours alarm response on a roster basis.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day branch operations and oversee delivery drivers and vault operatives.
- Ensure safe, cost‑effective and compliant collection, delivery and storage activities.
- Champion a customer‑first approach and maintain product knowledge of Loomis solutions.
- Support and motivate the team to meet performance and service standards.
- Handle out‑of‑hours alarm response on roster.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Shift Manager or similar level with strong leadership skills.
- Confident communicator with high integrity and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer and commercial focus, with ability to review performance and deliver customer satisfaction.
- Proven people‑management and team collaboration skills.
- Prior experience of direct customer management and liaison.
- Ability to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks; verifiable 10‑year employment/unemployment/educational history; an SIA licence would be beneficial but not essential.
