Shift Manager position at Capital Stock Lending.

Our Newport Transport branch is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000, depending on experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure branch runs efficiently, team motivated and supported, and customers receive best service delivery.
  • Day-to-day management of branch operations, overseeing a team of delivery drivers and vault operatives to ensure safe, cost-effective deliveries, collections and storage.
  • Champion the Customer First approach through product knowledge and understanding of Loomis solutions, appreciating customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Work flexibly as a key holder and be available for out-of-hours alarm response on a roster basis.

About you:

Previous experience as a Shift Manager or similar level with strong leadership skills.

Confident communicator, high integrity, attention to detail, team player.

Exceptional customer and commercial focus, ability to review performance and deliver customer satisfaction.

Direct customer management and liaison experience essential, with excellent leadership and people management skills.

Specific criteria:

  • Pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks.
  • Verifiable 10‑year employment/unemployment/educational history.
  • Possession of an SIA licence (beneficial but not essential).
