I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading high-end audio manufacturer — part of a wider European group renowned for premium sound systems. We’re looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary R&D team developing next-generation streaming and audio products.

The Role

A hands-on position covering the full development lifecycle — from architecture and concept through to simulation, prototyping, validation, and production handover. You’ll design and test advanced digital and analogue electronics, working across:

  • Microprocessors, DSPs, FPGAs, ADCs/DACs, DDR memory, Ethernet
  • Analogue audio circuits, filters, and amplifiers
  • High-speed digital design
  • Power supply design (linear & switch-mode)
  • PCB design in Altium
  • EMC/ESD considerations, compliance and pre-scan testing

You’ll collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams, liaise with external specialists, and support junior engineers through mentoring and design reviews.

About You

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar)
  • Strong commercial experience designing complex electronic systems
  • Deep understanding of high-speed digital, DSP/FPGA/microprocessor architectures, and analogue audio circuitry
  • Skilled in lab debugging and test equipment
  • Familiar with safety/EMC standards and modern ECAD tools (ideally Altium)
  • Desirable: RF (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) and audio/consumer electronics background

Why Apply?

  • Work on the electronics behind award-winning, high-fidelity audio systems
  • End-to-end design ownership and real technical influence
  • Friendly, collaborative R&D culture with an international brand
  • On-site, hands-on role ideal for engineers who enjoy lab work
