Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations, sales, and performance of multiple retail stores within a designated geographic region through a team of Area Managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and monitor the performance of 150+ stores within the Region, ensuring they meet and exceed sales, profitability, and customer service targets.
- Monitor Area performance through regular reviews and analysis of sales data, customer and colleague satisfaction metrics, and operational targets.
- Drive sales performance across the Region by implementing agreed strategies aligned with the Division and company to increase revenue.
- Manage Region budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and management of cost delivering financial targets.
- Assume full responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the Region, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Area managers and their teams, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Retail management experience, with exposure to a multi-unit or regional management role.
- Strong experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large teams across multiple locations.
- Expertise in driving sales performance, developing growth strategies, and implementing new business initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and store layout optimisation.
