Excellent opportunity working for one of the UK’s fastest growing retail and e-commerce businesses. Reporting to the Estates Surveyor, this role encompasses estates and projects across the entire UK and ROI portfolio, with a strong focus on estate management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of strategy, lease renewals, rent reviews, and landlord and tenant matters across a portfolio of 900+ trade counter sites.
- Strengthen and develop strong working relationships with external agents handling rent reviews, lease renewals, and lease re-gears across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
- Manage queries from internal and external stakeholders, including direct communication with landlords.
- Provide timely progress updates and professional advice under appropriate guidance.
- Collaborate with the wider team on various property-related projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts for rent, service charges, insurance, and professional fees.
- Maintain and update the property database, ensuring accuracy of lease data following acquisitions, lease events, or disposals.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Commercial property experience with a focus on lease advisory; ideally holds a RICS-accredited degree in Real Estate Management (or similar).
- MRICS qualification or currently working towards APC preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders.
- Highly organised and adaptable, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
- Creative and analytical thinker who remains calm under pressure and focuses on delivering practical solutions to challenges.
