We’re working with a leading Financial Services organisation to appoint a Head of Enterprise Risk Management to lead and enhance its regulatory risk framework in a complex FCA/PRA environment. This is a high‑profile role, partnering closely with the CRO and Board, with accountability for ensuring the organisation maintains a robust, forward‑looking and fully compliant risk framework.
The Role
- Lead and continuously evolve the enterprise risk management framework in line with FCA / PRA expectations
- Own regulatory risk oversight, ensuring effective identification, monitoring and reporting of risks
- Deliver and enhance the ORSA process, ensuring strong regulatory alignment and governance
- Provide clear, insightful risk reporting to executive and Board committees
- Support and shape risk appetite frameworks and ensure alignment to regulatory standards
- Oversee stress and scenario testing, supporting regulatory submissions and strategic decision‑making
What We’re Looking For
- Senior risk leader within a regulated financial services or ideally Insurance environment
- Deep expertise in regulatory risk and UK regulatory frameworks (FCA & PRA)
- Strong experience operating under SM&CR and ORSA requirements
- Proven ability to engage and influence Board‑level and regulatory stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of financial risk and stress testing, supporting regulatory requirements
