Responsible for the coordination and management of all assignment services for Clients’ employees embarking on a new assignment or transfer, or currently on assignment or returning from assignment. Services may include discussion of cost estimates and calculation/accordance with client policies; policy orientations with assignees and their families – including explanation of balance sheets and allowance calculations, household goods shipment, temporary living, home finding, furniture rental, visa and immigration coordination, cultural training, language training, expense administration; managing return trips, payment of miscellaneous allowances, destination/settling in services; repatriation, etc. Single point of contact for all transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all types of mobility services, including short and long-term and commuter assignments and permanent transfers.
- Conduct policy orientation calls, counsel the assignee on the applicable Mobility policy and review allowances and salary calculations.
- Coordinate tax consultation services as required.
- Communicate directly with the client as appropriate.
- Proactively manage all service partners used as part of the relocation process (e.g., visa and immigration, home search and settling in, cultural training, language training, temporary living etc.).
- Manage expenses and coordinate with appropriate departments to ensure timely payments.
- Proactively connect with assignee prior to assignment, while on assignment and when returning from assignment.
- Advise business sponsors on policies and processes, managing their expectations in terms of timescales, costs and key mobility considerations.
- Use technology and systems to track, manage and update each step of the assignment process.
- Manage the household goods process including survey, pack/load, delivery and claims.
- Participate in annual or quarterly meetings with client as required.
- Manage designated supplier relationships, internal and external.
- Meet/exceed service metrics.
- Support Global Team Lead with special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years’ experience within the Global Mobility industry.
- Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of relocation management software.
- Service Engine experience a plus.
- GMS desired.
- Complete understanding of the relocation and assignment processes including policy fundamentals and allowance calculations.
- Some after-hours communication may be required.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
