We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Adult Support Workers to join our team in Southport and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position only and is not open to part-time applicants.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex care needs, and mental health conditions. You will use your experience and professionalism to support service users with their daily routines while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting service users with day-to-day activities and encouraging independence
- Assisting with eating and drinking
- Meal preparation and planning
- Providing personal care
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Supporting access to the community and appointments where required
Requirements:
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK with no working hour restrictions
- Applicants must not be under sponsorship or on a Student Visa due to the full-time hours required for this role
- Minimum 6 months’ experience working within healthcare or support settings
- Experience working across a variety of care environments is desirable
- Ideally a driver with a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
- Must be available to work full time — this role is not open to part-time workers
- Flexibility to travel, as some shifts may require driving or use of public transport
- Enhanced DBS (can be applied for during registration if required)
Pay Rate: £10.42 – £19.50 per hour (depending on client, shift, and location)
