We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Runcorn and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position only and is not open to part-time applicants.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to service users within healthcare and care settings. You will use your professional skills and experience to provide safe, person-centred care while promoting dignity, respect, and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality personal care and support with daily living tasks
- Supporting mobility and transfers, including use of hoists and moving & handling equipment
- Assisting with eating and drinking where required
- Monitoring and reporting changes in service users’ conditions
- Supporting with repositioning, hygiene, and comfort
- Working collaboratively with nurses, support staff, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK with no working hour restrictions
- Applicants must not be under sponsorship or on a Student Visa due to the full-time hours required for this role
- Minimum 6 months’ experience working within healthcare or care settings
- Hoist trained and confident with moving & handling procedures
- Must be comfortable delivering personal care
- Ideally a driver with a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
- Must be available to work full time — this role is not open to part-time workers
- Flexibility to travel across Runcorn and surrounding areas
- Enhanced DBS (can be applied for during registration if required)
Pay Rate: £12.21 – £19.50 per hour (depending on client, shift, and location)
