We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Adult Support Workers (Driver Required) to join our team in Liverpool and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position only and is not open to part-time applicants.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex care needs, and mental health conditions. You will use your experience and professionalism to support service users with their daily routines while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This role requires driving service users to appointments, activities, and within the community, so a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting service users with day-to-day activities and encouraging independence
- Assisting with eating and drinking
- Meal preparation and planning
- Providing personal care
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Supporting access to the community, appointments, and activities
- Driving service users to appointments, outings, and other required destinations
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK with no working hour restrictions
- Minimum 6 months’ UK experience working within healthcare or residential support settings
- Experience working across a variety of care environments is desirable
- Must be a driver with a Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to travel, as shifts will involve supporting service users in the community
- Enhanced DBS on update service (can be applied for during registration if required)
